Waiting for theMad Scientist

The home page for Brian Earl Brown

A while back I took my web pages because I was getting so much traffic that I'd run out of bandwidth before month's end. While everybody wants more traffic there was just no way that what I had put out there would generate that much traffic.

When I took a look at what pages were being viewed I noticed that they were the pages named "Queens", "femme" and "Betty." It struck me that I was being visited by people looking for queens, only not beauty queens, femmes, not pulp heroines and expected more from my Betty Page page than one picture. Rather than waste everyone's time and resources I removed the pages, intending to replace them soon with similar material only without such suggestive pages names. Years later I haven't replaced anything!

I want to put up a couple things, though, so here's an update!

First up is a small gallery of pictures from the 2007 Windy City Pulp and Paperback Show ,
which was held in Chicago May 4th, 5th and 6th.
Besides the pictures I have a brief con report.
And, um, I should note that the pictures will take a while to download.

Beb Books This is what I do in my spare time, reprinting adventure and fantasy stories from the early pulp magazines. Check it out and see what I have available. You might find something you like.
