  • Muthuswamy Dikshitar & Thyagaraja - Divine composers of Carnatic music.
  • Ariyakudi Ramanuja Iyengar - A Carnatic musician-par-excellence and father of the concert pattern which is in vogue today.
  • V.N.Kumaraswamy - A yogacharya, who wrote a book on yoga asanas, Arogya Rahasyam, in 1950s in a Tamil Weekly. It covers the asana procedure, symptoms, ailments, and remedies, in a very lucid fashion. Visit his guru Yogacharya Sri Sundaram's website for more details.
