The certification training has been approved on a case-by-case basis for undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral level credit at several universities. CEUs are also available for the on-site certification trainings and for the distance learning programs, both certified and non-certified.

The Institute for Therapeutic Learning is a licensed Vocational School in the State of Washington. Funding for training may be available for students eligible for state vocational and/or unemployment funds residing in any state. Certification with the Institute is reciprocally recognized by many hypnosis organizations including the National Guild of Hypnotists, the largest association in North America, the American Institute of Hypnotherapy, and the National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists.

The Institute offers a range of courses and study options, both on-site and distance learning, which are more fully described in the hardcopy catalog which may be requested by mail. Students may take pre-existing courses for various levels of certification such as 150, 200, 300, or 450 hour certification and more. With approval students may structure their own programs for certification. On a case by case basis, Antioch University and other schools may give students who take these certification trainings credit towards post-graduate degree programs.

Jack Elias is a registered Clinical Hypnotherapist in the State of Washington and a Certifed NLP Practitioner with 30 years experience working with the mind and consciousness as a student and practitioner of Buddhist and Siddha Yoga meditation, psychology, and philosophy with recognized Masters in these traditions. He is the founder and director of the Institute for Therapeutic Learning and the author of FINDING TRUE MAGIC. Jack has a private counseling practice in addition to teaching certification trainings, lecturing, conducting seminars, and providing mentorship and supervision to graduate hypnotherapists. He is known nationwide for doing equally powerful and effective work by phone with clients. He also has a prior background of 20 years in business including sales, management, financial planning, and successful entrepeneurial enterprises. This background enables him to do effective corporate counseling and to support new hypnotherapists in the development of the business aspects of their careers.
