This Rancho , built in 1921, is a mile or more up the trail leading east from Puerto Ballandra, Isla Carmen.  This is our second most favored anchorage in the Sea of Cortez.

96' in Turtle Bay George the Fuel & Water Go-Getter and his wife Irma hosted Dave & Trish of "Evelyn" and Len and Char "Serenade"  to dinner in their home.

June 98 Al & Shirley Norberg, friends from our church in La Crescenta, now living in Washington State visited us aboard "Serenade" at Puerto Escondido for a week on Isla Carmen.

Gordon & Miriam Zittel aboard their 31' Golden Hind.  In '96 we met  "Anwagomi", now in the South Pacific for a third season, drop anchor at Juanico.  These are REAL SAILORS.
