August 3rd NO CONTRA dance due to floor refinishing.
August 27th Wed. Israeli dancing with Sharon Kleban 7:30-9:30 PM $3.50, $4.
August 30th Saturday 101st Annual Arden Fair 10 AM to 6 PM. Help the 
Folk Dance Gild sell refreshments. Dancing in the Gild Hall 1- 3 PM. 
Call June at 610 277 0844 to sign up for 1 hour drink shift.

  ARDEN FOLK DANCE GILD  2008 NEWSLETTER
 
Thank you for all the folk dance cooks that made the Indian-Pakistani meal, for 
the Dinner Gild on Saturday March 1st 2008. The menu was in three languages: 
Hindu, Arabic, and English.  This was the most delicious dinner yet!

Newark Folk Dance 8-10 PM  Folk Dancers are in George Wilson Hall, 303 New London Rd (RT 896) across from Clayton Hall, Newark, DE. AIR Conditioned building! Every Friday night. Call: (302) 994 8167 for more information. Mid December Christmas pot-luck and folk dance on the Friday night. Friday either Dec. 12th or 19th 2008 the Christmas Pot-Luck and Folk Dance party starts earlier maybe 7:15 PM for the dinner.

Directions to the Arden Gild Hall: From Wilmington Take I-95 North. Exit at Harvey Rd. and turn left on to Harvey Rd. Follow for approx. 1 mile. Passing blinking light at the Montessori school and pass T-intersection at Veale Rd., turn left at the next traffic light at Orleans Rd. to the fork and take the left fork which is called The Highway, to the Gild Hall. Parking beyond the Hall. From Philadelphia: Take I-95 South to exit 11 to Route 92/Naamans Rd via I-495 (first exit after crossing the DE/PA line). Keep right and continue West on Naamans Rd for approx. 1.7 miles. Turn left at Marsh Rd (RT 3) and continue for 1 mile to traffic light. Turn left on to Harvey Rd.. and then right on Orleans Rd. Follow Orleans Rd. to the fork and take the left fork which is called The Highway, to the Gild Hall. Parking beyond the Gild Hall.
