Benjamin CremeJust in case you missed it, Benjamin Creme appeared on Art Bell's widely syndicated talk show the night of July 10/11, 1998 and it was very interesting to say the least! Art remained quite skeptical, and asked some pretty intriguing questions of Mr. Creme. As usual, Creme sounded a bit nutty... but his message on "The Emergence of Maitreya" is something all prophetically minded people should hear. All in all, the program was well worth the time spent to hear it.

(Just in case you didn't already know, I have some pretty firmly grounded suspicions that Maitreya will turn out to be a big player in a One World Religion sometime soon, and no, I am not pleased! One of the main reasons is the ties between the United Nations, Maitreya and Creme's Share International magazine. This goes far deeper than I have been willing to share here on this website so far...)

betray2.jpg 12k Maitreya will betray ya!

But of course, some of you sleep during the night, and never get to hear the amazing things that Art's guests have to say. For just that reason, the good folks at Coast to Coast put nearly every show on the internet, in streaming audio files. This way, you can hear what you missed exactly the way it sounded the first time! Pretty cool, huh? Broadcast.com is the supplier of this wonderful resource... check out their huge selection sometime soon.

Art Bell also has a huge website full of some really weird material, and it's worth a visit, to be sure. His is a secular show, but often deals with topics that are very interesting to spiritually minded people. The show is a 5 hour monster that plays from 1AM till 6AM (EST) each weeknight on 400+ stations, but I have made it a bit easier to hear the best parts from the above mentioned interview with Benjamin Creme.

RealAudio of the Benjamin Creme interview

Creme spoke with Art for about 90 minutes, but you will need RealAudio 5.0 to enjoy it. If you do not have this software yet, it is high time that you get it. There is a free download button below. Just hit it, and follow the simple directions.

It's a free application that you can download now.

If you have trouble with it,
try this transcription instead!

OK, once you have downloaded the proper RealAudio player and gone through the easy installation, you'll need to know how to weed through the nearly 5 hours of sound to hear the best stuff! The player will appear on your screen, and you will hear a brief intro from the RealAudio people. Then Art's show will begin to load, and you'll notice something that looks like this near the bottom:

00:00:10.0 / 04:52:45.0

You may want to move the slider bar at the top over to the right about 20 percent, until that display reads close to (01:07:10.0 / 04:52:45.0). Those numbers simply mean that you are now 1 hour, 7 minutes and 10 seconds into the broadcast, which is 4 hours, 52 minutes long. This is where Creme joins Art for the interview. Give your buffer a moment to catch up, then off you go! At each half hour break in the show, there is about 10 minutes of commercials and such, so you may want to slide past them. (Sorry, Art!)

Once you have heard the whole interview, you might wish to slide forward through all the callers to (04:21:08.0 thru 04:23:30.0) and then again to (04:36:42.0 thru 04:40:22.0) where you will hear your old buddy Eastwood. Yep, that's right, I ("Jeffrey from Ohio") actually made it through Art's jam packed phone lines and got to talk to Mr. Bell himself for several minutes. He treated me rather well, and even called me "articulate"! Heheheh! He did say something odd after we talked, however. It sounded like he thought I might be a believer of Creme, whereas most of you know well that I am one of Creme's largest detractors. Perhaps Art simply meant that I seemed to take Benjamin Creme pretty seriously. That much is very true...
