WOW! Sneak Preview
New version of WOW! being mailed to all members!
Thanks to you, we're excited to be able to announce the release of the latest and greatest version of WOW! -- in development and on its way to you by mail in October.
In just a few weeks, you'll get a chance to see the results of all your valuable feedback and contributions. That's right, beginning in October, we'll be mailing a brand new version of WOW! to each member. Of course, this new WOW! kit will come to you free of charge.
Here's a sneak peek at some of the great new things you'll find on the new WOW!:
While you continue to enjoy your adult view of WOW!, and the younger kids frolic freely in their protected online world, the teenagers in your house now will have their own unique place on WOW!, with separate themes for teens who are College Bound (for ages 17-19), in High School (for ages 15-16) and in Middle School (for ages 12-14).
Your e-mail will be sent right away -- no more waiting for mail delivery.
A copy of each e-mail message you send is automatically saved so you can refer to it later or forward it to someone else.
You'll be able to forward a message you received to someone else, and it will include the original message when you reply to someone.
You'll be able to surf the World Wide Web with Microsoft's brand new Internet Explorer 3.0, meaning you'll have the best view of every site you visit.
Now you can install and use your WOW! account on every PC you call your own.
WOW! is now resizeable. Like most standard Windows applications, you now can drag and stretch WOW! so it fills as much or as little of your screen as you want it to.
You'll have a smoother, more reliable connection from you to WOW! because we've incorporated the Windows 95 phone dialer and TCP/IP stack software for increased performance.
Stay tuned to "What's New" for more late-breaking news about what's happening on WOW! And thanks again for your great support and helpful feedback.
