Upper 90 Soccer Academy Inc. (UNSA) started several summers ago by providing individual team camps for 3 central Jersey competitive teams. Since its inception, UNSA has expanded. Included in its repertoire are customized team camps and clinics, individual player camps and clinics, coaches' clinics, and personalized training for individual outfield players and goalkeepers, among other instructional roles. Also, 1997 was the inaugural year for UNSA/Cranbury Recreation Soccer Camp, UNSA's Striker/Goalkeeper Camp, strictly a functional camp for those positions, and Triangular Power Soccer Camp, a camp run in collaboration with several central Jersey churches. UNSA staff also coach and train area competitive teams, and Anthony Dell, UNSA's founder and President, coaches at NCAA Division I Rider University (1997 MAAC Champions and #15 ranked nationally) in Lawrenceville, New Jersey and for New Jersey Wildcats (1996 and 1998) of the USWISL W1. A relatively new member of the Upper 90 staff is Peter Wilson whose experience includes playing football in England as a junior, an amateur, and a professional, and coaching at various levels in England and the United States. Peter is head coach for NJ Wildcats. UNSA staff enjoy working with many different ages and levels, and with both genders. (UNSA staff, as well as Rider University Men's soccer and NJ Wildcats, wear apparel and boots provided by Spall Sports of England.)
Since our camps last summer, some exciting soccer related things happened for UNSA staff. Rider Universitys mens soccer team, for which I am an assistant coach, had its most successful season ever. The team won the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and finished the season ranked 1st in the Mid Atlantic Region and 15th in the nation (NCAA Division 1). In Dallas, we lost 1-nil in the first round of the NCAA tournament to #2 ranked Southern Methodist University. It was a well fought match where both sides were able to walk off the pitch proud of their efforts. Also in college soccer, staff member Jeff East was named JUCO All-American Goalkeeper! And Peter Wilson and I have been named as coaches for the NJ Wildcats of the USISL Womens W1. (Peter is the head coach.) We look forward to an exciting and competitive summer season.

Some services provided by UNSA
Team Camps - UNSA's team camp is different in a number of ways from larger camps that also advertise team camps. Most importantly, UNSA's is a customized camp. It is not a camp with a preset agenda, but one that creates a program that will satisfy needs each specific team has. These needs are determined by a face to face meeting with a coach from each team and a firsthand assessment made by UNSA at a training session(s) and/or match(es). Also, UNSA remains available for consultation and return sessions to refresh or furnish new instruction. UNSA is accessible more than only one week a year; UNSA is accessible 52 weeks a year.
Triangular Power Soccer Camp personnel teach technical and tactical skills, and relate the game of soccer to life in Jesus Christ. PAC and UNSA see this camp as a fun way to tie in soccer with Christ and Christian principles such as sportsmanship, teamwork, and individual responsibility. Camp consists of soccer activities along with time each day to relate those activities with Christian principles.
UNSA Striker and Goalkeeper Camp - Strictly a functional camp for strikers and goalkeepers, this camp focuses on improving the obvious responsibilities of each role - putting the ball in the net and keeping the ball out of the net.
Individual Instruction - UNSA recognizes that in order for players to improve their game, they must rely on more than the team sessions they attend. That is why UNSA provides individual instruction for goalkeepers and field players year round. Qualified instructors provide focused instruction on the specific needs of individual players.
