Instantaneous Spells

      Counter Spell   AN  ORT   stops the effect of any duration spell  (The power required for this spell is always equal to the power used to cast the spell that is being countered.)

      Cure Poison   AN  NOX   cures all but the most powerful of poisons  

     Disarm   AN  JUX   disarms the opponent  (This spell is effective on rune stones, wands, or other weapons.)

      Greater Heal   VAS  IN  MANI   fully heals major wounds or illnesses  

      Greater Time Travel allows the caster to move through time  (This spell is extremely difficult, and travel is usually unstable and dangerous.)  Restricted

      Heal   IN  MANI   fully heals minor wounds or illnesses; helps heal major wounds or illnesses  

      Lesser Heal   IN  BET  MANI   heals minor wounds or illnesses  

      Lesser Time Travel allows the caster to move a short distance through time  (This spell is difficult to control, and travel is often unstable.)  Restricted

      Lock   AN EX YLEM   locks any type of lock  (doors, containers, etc.) 

    Mending   REL  YLEM   fixes broken objects

    Patronus   KAL  ORT  SANCT   conjures a Patronus  (just like the Patronus Charm)

       Poison Foe poisons a target  (has no effect on inanimate objects)  Restricted

    Poison Weapon  IN  NOX  YLEM  poisons an object  (traditionally used on weapons)

      Restoration   VAS  MANI   fully heals major wounds or illnesses and leaves a target fully revitalized and alert

      Reveal   ORT  AN  QUAS   exposes objects or people that have been magically hidden  (by means of the Concealment or Invisibility spell, for example)  

      Smite Foe severely wounds a target  (has no effect on inanimate objects)  Restricted

      Unlock   EX  YLEM   unlocks any type of lock

Duration Spells

      Daylight   VAS  IN  LOR   causes a bright light to surround the caster  

Concealment   IN  QUAS   causes the caster or a targeted person or object to blend into the surroundings  (This spell works well in darkness or shadows, but it is not as effective in the light since the caster or targeted object will still cast a shadow.)

      Flameproof   SANCT  FLAM   protects the caster or a target from fire for a short amount of time

      Fly   VAS  HUR  POR   allows the caster to move slowly through the air for a time

      Invisibility   VAS  IN  QUAS   causes the caster or a targeted person or object to become invisible for a time  (Unlike Concealment, this spell is fully effective both in light and dark conditions.)

      Jump   UUS  POR   allows the caster to jump higher and farther than normal

      Light   IN  LOR   causes a soft light to surround the caster  

      Magic Armor   VAS  IN  SANCT   protects the caster from all but the most powerful spells, curses, or hexes ( the strength of the spell partially depends on the power and skill of the caster)  

   Magic Shield   BET  IN  SANCT   creates a relatively weak shield against many spells, hexes, and curses  ( the strength of the spell partially depends on the power and skill of the caster)  

      Paralyze   AN  EX  POR   paralyzes a target for a time

      Slow Fall   REL  DES  POR   allows the caster to float gently to the ground  

      Water Walk   YLEM  POR   allows the caster to walk on water for a short time

Targeted Spells

      Deadly Seeker   ORT  WIS  JUX   shoots a short burst of white energy that pursues a moving target and causes moderate damage

      Deathblow immediately kills a target with a burst of red energy  (has no effect on inanimate objects)  Restricted

      Death Wind kills multiple targets in front of the caster with a spreading wave of red energy  (has no effect on inanimate objects)  Restricted

      Fireball   POR  FLAM   shoots a short blast of fire toward a target

      Flame Wind   FLAM  HUR   sends many bursts of flame toward a target

      Levitate   UUS  HUR  POR   causes an object to float in the air  (allows only vertical movement)  

      Lightning   ORT  GRAV   sends a weak lightning bolt toward a target

      Locate   BET  WIS  EX   causes a small glowing orb to appear to lead the caster to whatever object or person on which the caster is concentrating  (the closer the object is, the easier it is to cast the spell)

      Magic Arrow   ORT  JUX   sends a short burst of energy toward a target

      Lightning Wind   VAS  ORT  GRAV   sends numerous lightning bolts toward a target  

     Rune of Flame   IN  FLAM   creates a flame at the targeted location

      Summon Object   KAL  YLEM   causes whatever object the caster was concentrating on to fly to him or her  (the closer the object is, the easier it is to cast the spell)

      Telekinesis   ORT  POR  YLEM   allows the caster to move objects in any direction from a distance
