Tim Baker
Tim Baker got his start
in show business entertaining the troops in Vietnam with his then wife,
Martha Raye. Since that time, Tim has performed standup comedy all
throughout this wonderful nation of ours opening up for such super talents
as Jim Breuer, Bob Saggett, and Ray Combs. In fact some speculate
that it was seeing Tim perform that led to the suicide of Mr. Combs.
During his comedy adventures Tim has been shot at by rednecks, kicked in
the balls by an irate patron, hit on by a male comic, and attended a striptease
club with Mr. Saggett. Tim has also appeared in numerous commercials
including his memorable role as the touchdown monkey loving fan of the
Indianapolis Colts. After this spot aired, throngs of Hoosiers began
worshipping Tim as their god. You can see Tim perform his antics
at numerous venues around town such as Zanies, the Barrel of Laughs, K.J.
Riddles, and Yuk Yuks Ha Ha Funny Stop. On WGIF, Tim is best known
for playing a clown in numerous clown parodies including Cape Clown, Run
Clowny Run, and A Streetclown Named Desire. There are several theories
why Tim has this vendetta against clowns. One is that he is getting
back at the clown who ran away with his mother. Another is that he
just likes to wear makeup.
