Well, it has taken me a long time to figure out what I believe, and I still am not completely sure...I don't expect I will ever be satisfied on this quest. But all the while I will still strive to uncover the mysteries of religion and spirituality. I have this section here because as I have construed it so far, I think many "metaphysical" things, such as magick, tarot, psychic powers, etc., do work — maybe not the way most people think they work, but that they do work. At the same time, please don't think that I believe in ALL 'New Age' beliefs, because I don't. For some strange reason, while I believe in Tarot, I do not necessarily believe in astrology (though I study it for historical reasons), palm reading, or many other metaphysical genres. You would have to get into serious conversation with me to understand my complex, yet simple, belief system (E-mail me if you feel the need).
At present I do not subscribe to any religion in particular. I believe in all religions, and I believe in none. I was raised with a somewhat devout belief in Catholocism. However, as an archaeologist/anthropologist/historian, I cannot fully adhere to any contemporary belief system. I do happen to have a soft spot for modern Roman Catholocism — not due to my upbringing, but because I academically study Christian history, and have come to appreciate it for what it's worth.
