I love to travel...there is just so much to see and learn all over the world. I haven't done extensive traveling. But one of my more memorable trips was a 10 day trip through England. I think I could definitely live there. My job in archaeology was especially good to me, travel-wise. In June, 1997, I had the wonderful chance (with the help of lots of financial aid) to go to
Belize and Guatemala in Central America. It was the trip of a lifetime. I was on an archaeological dig with the
Belize Valley
Archaeological Reconnaissance Project
During this time I spent 6 days in Guatemala, first in the north, the Petén region, and then in the south around Antigua, Lake Atitlan, and Guatemala City. It was great. And in 1992, I jumped at a chance to visit England for a week and a half.
The travel links I have are the Lonely Planet, which has tons of travel information. For Middle Eastern stuff, check out Yahala:Directory of the Middle East page. Here is a neat page for all the Middle East too. I also love the diverse United States. I have been to many of them, and hopefully will see them all. One of my favorites is Colorado.
Check out that page if you like to do outdoors stuff. And L.L. Bean has a
great U.S. State Parks
Search page! The Travelocity
homepage. And you must see Andalucia on the Net, if you are
planning a trip there.
