The Dorkathi class transport of 2668 was a capable craft for it's job, however, when
confronted with even a pair of fighters, it's lack of weapons became apparent.
Hundreds of these ships were destroyed by Confederation escort carrier groups, and
the remaining few have either been sold off to Kilrathi privateers or broken down
for parts. A word of note, any Kilrathi who served on a transport was considered
disgraced among their clan, and the quality of the personnel can be readily inferred
from this.
