Realizing the ineffectiveness of the Bloodfang Prototype against Confederation
fighters such as the Sabre, the Kilrathi High Command commissioned a new
class of fighter capable of outclassing even the most effective Terran craft. The
result, the Gothri, lived up to expectations, it's heavy gun loadout, rear turret, shielding,
and other battle-ready features put it on par with any Confederation fighter. The Gothri
proved it's effectiveness as a space superiority, escort, and bomber class fighter.
Until it's retirement after the Battle of Earth, it remained one of the most
powerful fighter craft in space.
