Chihuly Bridge of Glass

The Chihuly Bridge of Glass in Tacoma Washington. The bridge spans Highway 705 and connects the Washington State History Museum with the Museum of Glass.  It is free to the public on every third Thursday of the month.  These photographs were taken inside the "Seaform Pavilion" part of the bridge.  Hundreds of glass shapes overlap one another in a kaleidoscope of jewel toned colors.  Whether it is considered fine art or craft, the blown glass shapes are beautiful and mesmorizing.  The bridge itself is a wonderful relief from its industrial surroundings.
