The Basket Gathering
September 29-October 2, 2000
at Camp Mowana

Celebrating 15 years of Gatherings to make baskets in the hills of Ohio, Kathy and Bill Halter of Royalwood once again hosted  a wonderful weekend amid falling leaves and perfect temperatures.

An added twist this year was a a lovely pouch twined for Kathy and Bill by most of the teachers who had taught at The Basket Gathering over the years. It's work represents 43 teachers and we figured it traveled some 16,000 miles this last summer while under construction.

Pouch woven by teachers for Kathy and Bill.
