Quick German Coffee Cake - Mollie Steinhauer Recipe

This is a very easy, less time consuming coffee cake than the traditional Kuga with a different texture and taste but, equally delicious.

Dough

2	cups	flour
1	teaspoon	baking powder
1	teaspoon	baking soda
1	teaspoon	ground cinnamon
Ľ	teaspoon	nutmeg
1	cup	sugar
1		egg
1	cup	milk
˝	cup	orange juice
˝	cup	oil

Sift first 7 ingredients, add milk, oil and orange juice. Mix well.
Top with crumbs before baking.
Pour into square pan and bake for 35 minutes at 350°.

Crumb Topping

˝	cup	butter
1	cup	flour
2	tablespoons	sugar
Ľ	teaspoons	cinnamon

Mix well and sprinkle over the cake before baking.
