The color of speaker icon next to Music Categories in the home page indicates the status of the server. If
  • Green Audio Working Normal: Working Normal
  • Red Audio Down: Down for the reasons beyond our control. Do not have any timelimit for restoration.
  • Orange Audio Down Temporarily: Down temporarily. Will be restored with in 2 hours time.
  • Green and Audio not working: Down for the reasons beyond our control. Do not have any timelimit for restoration.

    1. Unable to hear the songs.
    There could be several reasons for this:
    1. All the clips featuring in this site are Real Audio files. In order to play these, you must have Real Player G2 or greater version. The basic or fullblown version of this software can be downloaded from www.real.com.
    2. Anuboothi site may be down for maintenance temporarily. You may check the status of Audio server on the Anuboothi site.
    3. DSL Connection to the site may be down.
    4. DSL Connection is a shared connection and the bandwidth may have been channelized for other purposes. It happens during these times 2-4 PM and 7-10 PM CST. You may check the status of Audio server on the Anuboothi site.
     
    2. Audio stops with "Rebuffering" in the middle while playing.
    One or more of these are possible reasons:
    1. The Real Player buffers a clip before it plays. The bandwidth might not have been enough to buffer. Preferred settings is to "Buffer the entire clip to the available memory."
    2. Some stray buffering occurs. This goes away usually by pressing "Ctrl + Right Arrow" or "Ctrl + LeftArrow"
    3. Could fail due to the reasons mentioned above
     
    3. Where can the featuring albums be purchased?
    Most of the albums, especially cassettes, listed on this site have been collected over a period of time in Tamilnadu, India. You may find them in the following shops:

    2. Corridors of Royappettai High Road, Mylapore, Chennai
    3. Saraswati Musicals, R.S.Puram, Coimbatore
    4. Corridors of Townhall Road, Madurai
     
    4. Can you record these songs for free or fee?
    We will not be able to record these clips for two reasons:
    1. Unavailablity of time
    2. Copyright protection of the pre-rec albums.
     
    5. Can I download the songs?
    No. Exact reproduction of the songs are protected by copyright laws. This audio server is built with security to protect from download a clip and store. However you may play using Real Player and give the sound card output to a cassette recorder and record the clips.
     
    6. What browsers can view this site?
    We have tested our site with Internet Explorer5.5 and Netscape 4.6. The presentation look fine in both, but Netscape presented fonts little smaller. The browsers need to be supporting Frames, Stylesheets, Java Scripts, and HTML tables - not a too fancy set of requirements for a browser - to view our site.
