The above title headed an article in the January issue of Acts & Facts, a monthly newsletter published by the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) located in El Cajon, California. The article highlighted the alarm expressed by leaders in the bureaucracies that control educational establishments. It seems they are afraid that if students are exposed to the full array of scientific evidence, it might cause them to attribute the sudden appearance of species to the intelligent design theory. The intelligent design theory, as you may recall, has reference to, and supports the Biblical perspective of creation. These educational leaders are passionately afraid that this would bring religion back into the schools. In the January article, Dr. Henry Morris states:
It does seem unnaturally strange for evolutionists to be so afraid that students may reject evolution if they hear any scientific evidence on the other side. They insist repeatedly that evolution is a proved fact of science, and they are quite free to present all the positive evidence for evolution that they can, so what are they afraid of?

The evolutionist is in serious trouble when pressed to give scientific evidence for his theory. Instead of evidence they typically resort to authoritarianism; "All we scientists believe it, so it must be true."

Dr. Morris states: "I have often told evolutionists that if they would just take the time to give one single definite scientific proof of macro-evolution instead of fuzzy generalities, then we might all become evolutionists. But this they will not do because they have no such proof. There is no scientific proof of evolution."

Evolutionary Paranoia
In the wake of hundreds of debates during the past 25 years between evolutionists and creationists, Eugenie Scott, director of the main anti-creationist organization, now warns her fellow evolutionists not to debate the issue at all. She says, "Avoid debates. If your local campus Christian fellowship asks you to defend evolution, please decline... you probably will get beaten."

No wonder there is an increasing level of paranoia among the evolutionists. When people are exposed to actual scientific evidence, they become aware that the theory of evolution is bankrupt.
