Q. On the day of Princess Diana's funeral there was an extraordinary, heartfelt response by millions of people in the UK - the like of which has never been seen before. Is it possible that Maitreya gave a blessing to the nation?

A. The unprecedented response was from the hearts of the people, their love for Diana who gave so much love to the needy and neglected. Maitreya potentized that love by a tremendous outflow of His energy - the Christ Principle, to which the people spontaneously responded without quite knowing why. It was, as it were, a rehearsal of what will happen world-wide on the Day of Declaration.

The soul ray of Britain is the 2nd Ray of Love/Wisdom. It is to its manifestation this past week, since Diana's death, that my Master refers in His article in this issue.

Q. Is it possible that Princess Diana had ever met Maitreya or knew about Him?

A. She had certainly heard about Maitreya and was becoming interested in knowing the full story. This would have thrown new light on the experience - a vision - which Maitreya had given her in 1989. This reoriented her life to dedicated service to the underprivileged and sick. From then on Maitreya magnetized her own love energy which was such a potent force in her subsequent charitable work. Among the thousands of testimonials after her death, many referred directly to her extraordinary healing presence and power. Even if gravely ill or dying, people felt immeasurably uplifted by her touch and words.

Q. What explanation do you have for claims that some mourners saw Diana's face while they were signing one of the many books of condolences?

A. It is true. Maitreya put the image of Diana in the minds of hundreds of people during the week following her death.
