I am another one of those devout Roman Catholics that I hope you will not judge harshly.  I proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord and I know that I am an unworthy servant.  I believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and the blood of Jesus was shed for all men.  I also sense that the time of the anti-Christ is near.

    In my humble opinion you do a great disservice to other faithful Catholics like myself.  You should be the first to admit that there are good and poor followers of Jesus in every denomination.  I would like to dialog more with you about why I feel so strongly that the Catholic Church is right for me.  I am not asking you to believe exactly what I do, but at least listen to what I believe and consider that the tradition that has been handed down from Peter to John Paul II does not contradict the Holy Bible.  What do you say?

Hello Brother. Let me first say that I feel for you as a result of reading all the scathing remarks of some Catholic Christians. From what I've read on your web page, you were very unbiased and stated truthfully that SOME popes have been creeps and called the "Anti-Christ." I appreciate your posting of this info. on Maitreya and find it very interesting. I can't wait 'till we all go home and I pray that your site may serve as a voice to persuade believers and non-believers alike to be gentle as doves, wise as serpents, and ready when our Lord comes again. Dear Eastwood,

On reading about Maitreya, it reminded me of another similar individual, Sai Baba. I learned of him back when I was a part of the New Age movement, I know...shame on me! Thank the good Lord that He saved me from all of those charlatains and false teachings and eternal damnation!!!

Anyway, claims about Sai Baba range from him being God in the flesh, the avatar of the new age. Sai Baba is said to be able to be in two places at once, able to manifest objects, such as jewelry, and levitates. What he is saying sounds a lot like Maitreya. Of course, Yahoo lists lots of sites for Sai Baba. I'd be interested in your comments.

It's interesting how some think the antichrist is the next pope, a world leader such as Lebed (the Russian), Maitreya or even an Arab "holyman". I expect that we will be raptured up and watch the events from above!

If anyone can show me one sliver of scripture that encourages us to look for Marian apparitions I'll put salt on it and eat it!!! We have to decide what is the foundation for our faith, the infallible Word of God or the traditions of men. If the Word of God is our foundation then ALL experience must be judged by THE BOOK. If we don't nail down what absolute truth is then I could stand in the pulpit and read how Barney is not a purple dinosaur but really a revelation sent from God (after all purple is the color of divinity in scripture). All RELIGIONS have apparitions, visions etc. and their followers accept them without question. That's what sets apart true Biblical Christianity from the crowd we have an absolute standard. One standard. An infallible standard. That was one of the cries of the reformation Sola Scriptura!!!

Dear Jeffrey,

I want to thank you for forwarding the info about Maitreya to me. We do need to be aware of what is going on around us.
At the same time, I seriously doubt that he is the "Antichrist". Sure, he may be 'showing great signs and wonders', but remember, Jesus said that there would be many of these guys.

As you may have read in my pages on the End Time site, I am convinced that the Two Beasts will come from Islam, and I doubt that the New Age stuff will have much, if anything to do with them.

Furthermore, I also believe that when they rise to power, the United States will already be history. The thing that Christians need to watch to discern when the very End is almost upon us, is what is going on between Syria, Iran, and Iraq, and also the rise of fundamentalist, extremist Islam. For example, they are trying to take control of Egypt and Algeria. If my scenario is generally correct, they will succeed. A three way alliance already exists between the three nations above. It should become more visible and powerful, and sooner or later it too should be completely dominated by Fundamentalist Islam. If that situation exists, the stage is set.
Keep your eyes on that.

By the way, I would appreciate knowing what happens with this announced appearance by Maitreya. I've been hearing about him for years, but haven't heard of his being seen yet.

Hi Jeff, Just read link to Share Press Release & other links ww miracles etc. It is disgusting how Benjamin Creme is trying to link the True Christian Marian Apparitions of Jesus & Mary to prepare the way for the coming of his "Maitreya" not the true Christ. "Even the elect will be deceived". All the Marian apparitions listed by Share are quite accurate, but there is no correlation with Creme's Maitreya. He is just trying to capitalize on the true miracles helping to draw people back to God to substantiate his "Maitreya as being the Messiah". Mary always points to Jesus and true Christian Trinitarian Beliefs and of course the Bible. She will say that Jesus is always our only Lord & Savior. There is no connection between any Catholic Marian apparition and a true apparition of Jesus, to this Maitreya. That is why the Church is very careful, as some can be demonic to mislead.

Just want you to know that I already had a Catholic Prophecy Update, messages to a visionary in NY from Jesus dated 4/17/97: "If you should encounter the Antichrist, avoid looking into his hypnotic eyes. Avoid listening to him, especially on his "Day of Declaration" on radio and television throughout the world."

On 10/14/93, this same visionary received the message: "The Antichrist will have eyes you should avoid. He will be able to hypnotize your thoughts and gain control of your mind. He will have demonic powers and you should hide from him. He and the men he will influence will seek out the faithful and try not only to kill the body but to steal the soul from God if they are not protected."

3/29/96 Visionary had a vision in which he could see a figure come forward in white robes with a dark beard which was revealed to him as the Antichrist. It is only through My help that you will be protected. Call on My name to invoke against his power... It is also proper that My Warning (***JAnote see Garabandal apparitions of Mary) and the installation of the Antipope must occur before the time of the Antichrist will be allowed." 4/17/97 continue: ...As the Antichrist declares himself,, he will try to bring all religions into submission to him. Eventually, he will demand to be worshipped under pain of torture and control of your buying and selling. My people you will come under closer scrutiny from listening and seeing devices that are designed to follow your whereabouts....."

5/1/97: "My people, remember I have told you not to follow anyone who claims to be Me. These will be false witnesses and you should not follow them. Soon you will see the Antichrist declare himself as Me and he will try to have you worship him. Hide yourself from this imposter, who will appear to have miraculous powers...." 5/10/97: "Pray much now, my friends, for the time of the Antichrist's declaration is very near..." (Here there are messages about the new low orbiting satellites in place and how we are not to take the Smart Cards or MotB) 8/7/97: "....The time of the Antichrist's declaration is not far off. You must come to Me in love to seek protection from all these hateful factions. The power struggles between good and evil are about to clash."

Another visionary received a message from Jesus which said on 1/3/97, ".. the Antichrist is now living in this world. In 1998 he will be seen on TV, be heard on radios and be read in newspapers. He will start his evil mission....". 1/4/97: Our Blessed Mother in public apparition told A.R. "Pray, pray, pray... This year and next year are very terrible years, because this year and next year are the"Years of the Beast"..... Remember that the Antichrist is now living and the Day of Declaration is coming?..... is the Antichrist: he will work many miracle that people will be deceived except those who are consecrated to my Immaculate Heart (**Ja note for Catholics)... The Pope - pray for him because he will leave the Vatican soon and when he leaves the Vatican, the tribulations and persecutions will start. Pray, Pray , Pray!"

Most important to remember is not to look into his eyes or listen to his words especially on the Day of Declaration! If you want the complete messages, plse send you mailing address. I think you have the best handle on what's going on. We shouldn't fear but through these prophecies be aware and prepared by as much prayer as possible. Do not underestimate the "Woman Clothed in the Sun". Jesus loves his Mother and she suffered emotionally at the Cross and is the only human who knows the Divine Will so perfectly. Please don't believe in Benjamin Cremes linking Our Lady's apparitions to the Maitreya's coming. It is to throw Christians off track. It is Our Lady who battles with us as well against the darkness. She helps all her children to know her Son. The fact that Creme trys to connect the Blessed Mothers apparitions with Maitreya shows that they have had an impact on the world, and what better for Satan to try to use this to his advantage. No the Blessed Mother is on our side and she only prepares us for the Second Coming of the True Christ.

Been tracking him and his sidekick for four (4) years now. All I can say is everything Kat says is true and more. Not to ruin anybody's party but please tell Kat I am gravely concerned for her. Never underestimate Maitreya. I've never dealt with B. Creme but I have with Maitreya. And, like I said, never underestimate him. I tried to infiltrate this group with success back in California at their Center. I got out before it cost me my soul.

Don't you just love it when "prophets" give a date or deadline for their prophesies to happen? Usually (or, rather, every time) the date comes and goes with nothing special occurring. I noticed on the Share Int. site that "We do not expect that Maitreya will be introduced under that name, or as 'the Christ', 'the Messiah', etc. Well, I guess that gives them lots of squirming room if what they predict doesn't happen.

Hello,

I see you posted some of my articles on the potential coming crash. Bear in mind my timing has been off in anticipating this event many times in the past and I'm pretty uncertain this time around as well. Nevertheless, the patterns do seem to indicate the possibility that "The Crash" is upon us and it may very well take the form of an Iraqi chemical SCUD missile attack against Israel and subsequent world war. I hope not for the sake of civilization, but it is a possibility.

I'm a little bit confused. You think this Maitreya dude is antichrist not christ, right? Just seems the links on your news page to Maitreya articles are presented without comment and almost seem promotional.

I find your page interesting and have as of late heard about this Matreya showing up in the States. But.....Just a thought here : ) After reading over a lot of you feelings on Matreya, I wonder what his backround is. Would he not have to have a backround of lineage assocoated with what could make him exceptable to the Jewish religous leaders? I can't seem to find out much about his backround which I would think would have a large baring on whether he is excepted.

Also I wounder if you could give me some specific scriptures on the Anti-Christ being a single man and his specific powers. Seems to me (and I don't have my Bible out ) But in John, "antichrist" is anyone who denies Christ not just one person who denies Christ..

I'm not saying your wrong, I don't know. I just do'nt know that I see the 666 beast in revalations as the same thing as "the antichrist" seems more like a world power. I can't seem to find anything about one specific "antichrist." Am I making this confusing (g)

I am a christian brother out in california who has recently started studying up on Maitreya(I found him thanks to a couple of "end time" type dreams I had oddly enough). While my last weeks worth of research(about 4 hours a day) is starting to make me think of him as "the" anti-christ, there is still the part of me that is withholding judgement until I have a few more questions answered. I did find your page quite helpful and in general, it provided me with a few insights I lacked before. For this, a heartfelt thank you! Now to the point...

I have been of the belief that the rapture would occur at the time of the second coming. However, I find quite a few christians believe as you do, that the rapture will happen before the tribulation. This has caused me to think that there is some reason I have overlooked, and after reading your web page, especially in light of the fact that I found your pages intelligent in origin, I would greatly appreciate any input you may have on this subject. If you have some spare time to drop me a few lines regarding why you believe the rapture to occur prior to the tribulation, you would greatly help a brother trying to make sense of it all. If you don't have the time, I understand and thank you anyway. Your web pages have truly been helpful.

I had a real leading today to do some reading about the End Times and the Lord's return.  I found your web page on Infoseek when I ran my search and had my eyes opened.  I'm pre-Trib, by the way ... but I still am concerned about all those who are being deceived by groups like Unity, et al. (which my mother-in-law is involved in -- could I ask you to pray for her (Catherine Aldrich)?  Thanks.)

Anyway, your page is a real blessing.  I'm going to bookmark it and check back from time to time.

I have very much enjoyed your web page. Since you are pretribulational how do you view dispensationalism? I am learning about it in depth and it is not an exagerration to say that it is THE key to rightly dividing the Word of Truth. I had always had Isreal mixed up with the heavenly church. I couldn't understand anything or grow because I was a bizarre mix or Arminianism and Calvinism! Now I am in an evening school and am learning the truth.

You seem like a really neat person and I think you have to be to work so hard on your website. It's incredible what knowledge is on the net good and bad. Thank you for posting my letter. I enjoy an uncensored reading and I too like to hear all comments from all religious perspectives. I understand your views concerning the Vatican and Rome's power. I guess we have to weigh the fruits versus the mistakes made and put it all in perspective as to the mentality of the world at different points in history. I don't think any christian religious institution has been without supreme attack. Anyway, keep up the good work. I hope to chat with you again. I know you will know the Blessed Mother one day in a very special way.
