In 1998, I met a rather intelligent e-friend who was heavily into Crop Circles and other such phenomena. After an hour or so in conversation, he had really piqued my curiosity about both their authenticity and meaning. Now, being a pretty rational guy, I immediately regard such things skeptically, so when I first started to research the circles, I assumed they were all merely hoaxes... and, as it turns out, quite a few of them have been...
However... I truly doubt that ALL of these manifestations are hoaxes.
When I began to seriously investigate them, I stumbled on to some rather interesting and downright prophetic information. As a matter of fact, I discovered news about a powerful man named Maitreya (my-TRAY-uh) who claims to be the cause of such "miracles"... and for all I know, he very well may be!
Unfortunately, he also is a very likely candidate for the title of "Antichrist" -
an entity much anticipated (and dreaded) by students of Bible Prophecy.
(...and, yes, I am dead serious.)
There are many Crop Circle Sites on the net, and some of them are crammed full of New Age teaching... a belief that has become quite prevalent these days.
I will readily admit that I do not subscribe to such teachings, regardless of how harmless the "Love and Light" crowd may seem. The truth is that this is a very dangerous movement that is helping to prepare the way (probably unwittingly) for Mr.666 himself! (And yes, I realize how 'alarmist' that sounds.)
Love and Light are both very desirable, but you have to consider their sources... For instance, how many couples who "love" each other, wind up hating each other 5 or 10 years down the road? As for light, one of the brightest lights ever recorded on earth came from a very destructive atomic bomb dropped at the end of WWII. Love and Light are indeed very desirable, but the SOURCE of them is critically important. Only the True Love and True Light of Jehovah, the God of the Bible, will totally satisfy the human heart; all other manifestations are imposters.
Though the ideas conveyed by New Agers seem very gentle, loving and easy to digest, can we really believe that Man is inherently good, or better yet that Man is, or can become a god? As nice as it would be to be truly in charge of one's own existence, the thought of me or anyone I have ever met being a god seems outrageous! Why haven't even one of us "gods" simply stopped death and hatred yet? Sadly, most "New Age" religions are just Buddhism and other Eastern thought repackaged for a spiritually jaundiced Western world. The intent is commendable, but the path is toward complete spiritual ruin. People naturally want to be in charge, yet God simply demands our subservience... and mankind will always rebel.
Regardless, there remain many believers in the spirituality of Crop Circles, who feel that meditation upon such symbols will rapidly raise their consciousness. This is supposedly achieved by connecting with the "Unified Field of Intelligence", using the Crop Circles as receivers of higher frequencies. I can fully appreciate the mindset of such sincere people, and I am delighted that they are among those of us seeking Truth, but man's ways are not God's ways.

Well, to make a long story short, I have come to a couple of conclusions. Thanks to that friend, I have been studying Crop Circles for the past several years, and my personal theories on them have boiled down to just two probabilities... either
OK, but WHY make these creations? Simple disinformation campaign... as we have heard before, religion is the opiate of the masses - and the New Age is certainly a religion! Get folks confused, curious and nervous and they become putty in a leader's hands. Over the last 5 years I have found plenty of evidence to support this theory, but I simply can't offer positive proof.
Yes, indeedy. Lucifer (Satan) is the Angel of Light, and he does possess some intense powers that are way beyond our understanding. (My reference material is of course the Bible for this one!) His hoard is also powerful, and quite capable of breaking the spirit plane to do the types of mischief that many refer to as paranormal. As beings aligned with the Angel of Light, it follows that they can commonly be seen in many spectral phenomena: ghosts, UFOs, Special Stars, etc.
But WHY make Crop Circles? Again, Disinformation, or better yet, Deception.
As America and the rest of the world fall further away from Creator Worship (God) and toward Creation Worship (the environment), Signs like these have taken on overly important meanings. Humans are dying to explain away the responsibility of a Biblically-based ethics system so that they can simply do what ever they want - with no guilt or fear of retribution! Therefore they happily reach for anything that allows them the freedom to do as they please, and the New Age philosophies are just this kind of rhetoric. Unfortunately for such people, God doesn't just go away when one ignores Him... I know, because I tried to ignore Him for years!
What this all means is big trouble for an ever increasing segment of the global population - those who refuse to bow down before the one and only Holy God! He has allowed us to hate His authority long enough, and His patience with us is about to expire.
But what do aliens have to do with the Rapture?
I think that it is the number one plausible explanation that will be offered by the Antichrist to explain away the disappearance of Millions of people! When the Rapture happens, the world cannot fail to notice that people by the millions have simply vanished, and whoever has the best explanation will definitely get some attention...
Wait a sec, did someone say Antichrist?
Regardless, Maitreya is without any doubt a false Christ!
