We are back to work on the 1951 Willys Station Wagon. We decides to update everything and move into the 21st century. Great strides have been made on this project and with a little luck it might get some road time this year.

A overdrive trans will now sit on the new tranny crossmember that was made to fit the frame. The new power will be supplied by a late model 5.7 Liter TBI 350 Chevy.

The new motor mounts are now located on the frame rails. Top photo shows the mount all burned in and the right photo shows finished and painted.

All the clutter has been cut from the chassis. New motor mounts are in place and it is ready for the new engine.

Now to get a better grip on things, I have installed a classic Oldsmobile steering wheel in the 1937 Olds. The new color on the dash looks great and a plan is in the works to update the gauges and add some white pinstriping.
