The articles of clothing pictured in this section are either one-of-a-kind items made of top quality brocades, wools and other fine fabrics which are in short supply or closeout items that we no longer stock. This section is a "Revolving Rack" where a garment will be removed as soon as it has been sold. They are available for immediate shipment in the sizes listed. Some fabrics are available for additional sizes, but a 6-8 week waiting period is necessary before shipment.

Renaissance Wedding Gown


An ivory satin damask wedding dress richly embellished with multiple rows of pearled trim around the rounded neckline, down both sides of the front opening and on the sleeves. Finishing off the extravagance are glass beads from Europe closing the bodice front and the lower sleeve section. It is worn over an embroidered triple trimmed chemise with long trimmed voile sleeves. The complete emsemble has a matching purse and a Juliet cap trimmed with pearls.

Our dresses are not sized by modern sizing standards since period dresses do not fit like modern clothing. The table (right) is merely a guide line to help you in your selection and not a hard and fast rule. Much depends on how you like your clothing to fit and your body style. The first measurement in each "size" is the actual garment measurement at the bustline. You should compare this number to your actual bust measurement.

IF YOU WANT IT TO FIT, BUT NOT "LIFT AND SUPPORT", your bust measurement should be the same at the first number.

IF YOU WANT A FIRM LIFT AND SUPPORT, your bust measurements can go up to the second number (and may possibly exceed it by a small amount).
