Recently, some offended woman complained because I had a link to a website that featured writings by one of my favorite authors, George Warnock. She demanded that I remove the link. The link did not even go to her website, but someone else's. She had absolutely no right whatsoever to even attempt to tell me what to do with my website, much less with a link that went to someone else's website who had previously voiced no objection to me posting that link. It was obnoxious. She was obviously one of those folks who seem to think it's their business to police the world and meddle in others' affairs.

Evidently (or so it seemed to me), she figured that no one who agreed with Bro. Warnock's teachings would write an article about polygamy in Scripture that did not condemn it as sin. Well, no one has yet shown me any solid biblical reason why I should, and I stand by what I wrote at that time. It has been something like six years now since I published If polygyny be wrong... and, although I have continued to read the Scriptures and re-examine the topic, I have not been able to refute myself! Six years. Nor has the Holy Spirit indicated to me in any way that polygamy is sin any more than monogamy or celibacy.

I am not particularly interested in offending people, so I contacted the other person, and asked her what to do. She said to go ahead and remove it, and I did, since I had said that I would if she wanted me to. End of story.

But I got to thinking... perhaps others whose links I placed here because I liked something they wrote might be offended also, or some other meddler would make himself or herself a nuisance to me. So I decided to remove ALL links from this page, regardless, whether I like their material or not. This website is long overdue for an overhaul anyway.
