Lost
His Voice 5/19/03 By Ken
Shiovitz She was simply unapproachable. Never mind the soft pink cheeks, Perfect nose, Lips so moist, His lungs forgot how to inflate. And even if they remembered, The sight of her long velvet neck Would stifle any further breathing. But these were only hors d’oeuvres To whet the paralysis of his mind. For it was her body, A rap song delivered, Bumping along a country road, And breasts so intimidating, He had to stare at the floor, Just to remain standing… Rap song, rhyming toward him… No wonder he lost his voice. |
