Otto WINKLER SKY was born in 1954 in Wiener Neustadt, Lower Austria. He lives and works in Vienna, the capital of Austria, and also maintains a studio in Neudoerfl, Burgenland, Austria.

In 1974 - at the age of 20 - he had his first one man show in a gallery in Wiener Neustadt and Vienna. Since then he has exhibited 150 collections of his work in Austria, in New York. Germany, Switzerland, Egypt and Saudia Arabia. Many original works are in private collections, museums and public places all over the world.

In 1986, during his second show in New York City, he added the name SKY to his name. For Otto Winkler the name SKY signifies his wish to become global in his artwork.

Otto Winkler SKY's paintings reflect bouyant motion and prominent colors. He presents his works to the public in the form of series. Using special techniques in his COSMIC DREAM LANDSCAPES, he creates a three dimensional effect through color changes.

In 1991, Otto Winkler SKY received an art award from the state of Burgenland.
