A Letter from Michael - Synopsis

This is a letter Michael sends to Nick from New Orleans,
detailing a conversation between LaCroix and Rasena,
Michael's "foster-mother" in 1440. This is five years after
Michael was brought over, he's been living as a mindless
beast in the forest and Rasena, an ancient Etruscan vampire,
has captured him and intends to "tame" him. Michael is
actually LaCroix's "grandson", the accidental creation of an
insane "son" of his, who impersonates the Devil. LaCroix
would rather destroy Michael, but agrees to turn over the
rights to his "offpring" to Rasena. These is more of a
"conversation piece" than a story, an exploration on my part
of the attitudes of a pre-Christian vampire.
