Per Mary Brennan Reid's paper of 3/1990:  Michael Brennan, age 20, emigrated from Liverpool, England aboard the Ship Venice, arriving in the United States at the Port of New York on April 30, 1846.
Per Mary Brennan Reid's paper of 3/1990, it can be inferred that these are the parents of Thomas Brennan, as they had a son named Thomas, 6 years of age, in the 1860 Census for Pottsville, PA.

Maiden name per Mary Brennan Reid's paper of 3/1990.
Also, per Mary Brennan Reid's paper, Mary Kelly Brennan emigrated from Liverpool, England at age 16 aboard the Ship Greenock, arriving in New York on August 18, 1846.  And Mary Kelly Brennan's sister Catherine was her son Thomas' Godmother at his baptism on July 10, 1853 at the Church of St. Patrick in Pottsville, PA.

       Per Mary Brennan Reid's paper of 3/1990, he is 2 months old in the 1860 census, whose date of record is July 2, 1860.  Guessing that he wasn't born on May 1 or 2, but probably April.
 
 

Notes for THOMAS BRENNAN:
DOB from 1900 Census.  Place is from Mary Brennan Reid, who cites the 1900 Census for Philadelphia as indicating Thomas was born in Pottsville, if I understand her notes clearly.  However, her source for that Census must be different than mine, as mine did not list town of birth.  It may have been a census of the Pottsville census district.

However, Mary's paper gives 6/29/53 as Thomas' birth.  and she lists 2/5/1855 as Francis' DOB, who died at birth.  I believe she reversed Thomas' and Francis' DOBs, as Thomas' DOB in the 1900 Census is given as 2/1855.

Per 1900 Census, and Mary Brennan Reid's paper of 3/1990, Thomas Brennan lived at 1948 Bonitz/ Bonetz Street in Philadelphia.

Per Mary Brennan Reid's paper of 3/1990:  Francis' birth certificate indicates that he was born at home at 1948 Bonets Street, Philadelphia.
