As Sissy was told, Josie died on the back porch of Uncle Allen's house in
Stuart's Draft in sight of her beloved
Sissy heard that her father went to that Church when he was a little boy. It's
Calvary Methodist Episcopal Church in Stuart's Draft, which sits on a sort of
fork in the road, with a side street along side, per phone call to the Church
on 6/24/1997. The person answering, Jacqueline Smith, confirmed that Josie Lee
McDaniel, "mother of Edgar Allen Taylor," was buried in that
cemetery, along with Edgar Allen Taylor.
The Church is located on Route 340, which may be called Greenville Road soon.
