Music in the Mail tries to maintain a web site which answers all common (and even uncommon) questions about our service. On our home page we state all the encouraging facts (our prices) and the discouraging facts, no credit cards, no toll free (or any) phone calls, no orders to NY State residents, order shipped only on the only first day of the month , the 45 day waiting time on most orders, a list of the major U.S. compact disc labels we don't carry, etc. etc. We don't accept solicitations to buy anything from anybody....ever!!!

HOWEVER:

We can appreciate the difficulty negotiating web sites provide. We understand that web impatience and frustration build as you simply wish a quick answer. Spurting off an E-mail usually means just an autoreply answer back often redirecting the sender to our a different area of our web site......sorry!

We have a partial solution for many. Send a stamped self-addressed envelope and we will send you a printed list of our CD labels and prices, ordering instructions, official order form.

Then, within 30 days or less . (Note: we do reserve the right to mail you our printed lists even sooner then 30 days!), your life suddenly reverts to 1995, it becomes a little E-slower! Our envelope comes ... now, you have something to read in bed, at the kitchen table, even the bathroom (but stay out of the shower - our ink runs)!

Here are some of the basic pre-ordering do and don't rules:

Checks or money orders only. We do not accept credit cards.

Sorry , we cannot process orders from NY State Residents.

We cannot offer email support to questions about CD availability or who currently distributes what label. (Our web site offers you the links to each distributor we supply and to the major classical CD search engines - you must do your own research!) Ask our listed distributors ... many have toll free phone numbers all have web sites and email! Ask them! A fully pre-informed consumer is our only customer !!!!

We have no phone or fax support. We will try to answer your postal letter within 30 to 45 days (or less) after you mail it but only if you supply a 39 cent self-addressed reply envelope within the letter!

We DO NOT SUPPLY the Major US Classical labels---NOTICE--- Music in the Mail -- CAN'T SUPPLY labels like: Sony/Columbia, RCA/BMG, London/Decca, EMI/Angel, DG or Philips, etc. etc.

Here is our Four Times per year SHIPPING SCHEDULE. Send your order in on time or be counted out! Remember: Timing is everything! Orders that arrive in our mailbox even one day too late -- will delay your order till the next order processing and shipping cycle date!
