BEACON AND THE LOCAL CHURCH Though Beacon Children's Ministries is non-denomnational in nature it is a part of the local church. BCM does not "just" come along side the church but is part of the local Church that seeks to minister in many area congregations.
Paul wrote in Ephesians 3:20; "Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen." We want to be used as ministers so that Christ might have glory in the Church as boys and girls (and their families) can come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Paul goes on to write in Ephesians 5:25; "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;". This tells us that Christ has a very special relationship with the Church. The Church is the "bride of Christ" and loves her so dearly. Christ has worked through His Church for 2000 years and it is our desire that God uses BEACON to win many unto Him in the future. |
