RÉSUMÉ - Michael Maynard lives in Arizona. At age 21 he was led to believe the Gospel. He studied at Phoenix College (A.A.S. in Electronics, 1986), Arizona State University (BA in German, 1989), and the University of Arizona (M.L.S., 1992). In Oct. 1990 he passed the PNdS (Prüfung zum Nachweise für deutsche Sprachkenntnis) at Eberhard-Karls University in Tübingen, Germany, where he studied, 1990-91. He completed 14 hours of classical Greek, 6 hours of Koine Greek, 18 hours of Latin, 22 hours of French, and over 50 hours of German. He attended Phoenix Seminary, where he completed a course in Biblical Hebrew Syntax. He is the author of A History of the Debate Over 1 John 5:7-8 (Comma Publications, 1995).
