My goal for my black line of birds is to breed a line with slate legs instead of black.
I have already started this with my rooster Ford. He has slate legs and it seems most of his daughters this year have
slate legs also.
I have hatched both pullets and cockerels with promising looking legs last season and
will continue breeding towards this goal.
