I have just read through all the beautiful, loving comments that you have all written as a tribute to my son, Scott. His sisters and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this loving memorial. It means so much to us and help to lessen our pain. I hope to respond to each of you individually over the next few days and thank you. Scott was a very special person who was always happy and independent, despite his health problems. We loved him so very, very much and will miss him every day for the rest of our lives. He enriched our lives, and it means so much to know that he enriched yours, as well. His memorial service will be here in Moscow, Idaho, at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Please think of us and send your prayers. . I wanted to tell you that the memorial service for Scott was very beautiful, and attended by 150 to 200 people. There were people standing in the back of the church. I probably told you that the church is a beautiful old greystone, with gorgeous stained glass windows, and there were lots of flowers. The service was very personal. I prepared a booklet handout which included all the wonderful comments we had received so far, and Scott's uncle read some of them during the service. I have downloaded and printed out your website, plus all the other things I could find, and printed out all the e-mail messages,and put them in a notebook. This has been the most difficult event in my life, but I can't tell you how much it helps to have had all this wonderful outpouring of affection for my son.
