Here's a stab at this very interesting assignment. Any comments will be welcomed. Thanks! :-)
Eight year old Jonathan is convinced his life at home is too miserable to be tolerated: a familiar LEITMOTIF in young children. SPECIOUSLY, he believe his parents see him as highly CONTUMACIOUS, when in reality his only failing is ORTHOGRAPHY. With little PELF, and only a SOBRIQUET chosen from his favorite character in the Bible to cover his tracks, he decides to steal away before his parents awaken.
An avid VOTARY of radio-controlled cars, Jonathan carefully packs his favorite vehicle, enlarging his FASCICLE, along with his favorite CARABINER, in case it might be needed for climbing. Resting his head in his hand, gazing from the small MIRADOR outside the east window of his bedroom, he absently traces a TESSERA decorating the top of the railing and contemplates his bold plans. Suddenly he is TORPID. What if he should have a CONTRETEMPS? Just the thought of it creates an immediate SUDORIFIC response on his furrowed brow.
But then a graceful WAPITI, head and antlers held high, strolls along on the horizon, silhouetted by the REFULGENT rising sun. The sight of her brings a welcome FELICIFIC response to Jonathan's heart and mind. Her majesty and strength act on him like NEPENTHE and he bravely looks to the future. Secure in his FIDUCIAL relationship to his BENEFICENT Father in heaven, he is suddenly confident that he will meet with success. He vaults over the low balcony and sprints across the damp, shimmering lawn toward the far-off road...and freedom.
