3. Obituary, Cheboygan Michigan USA newspaper, May 24, 1907, Sova-Nelson Bordo who has been sick so long passed away last Thursday and was buried from St. Francis church Saturday. He was a patient sufferer for nearly a year and death was a kind relief to him. He was one of the pioneers of Black River, having lived on the farm for over forty years. He was a kind husband and father, a good neighbor and well respected by all who knew him. He leaves six daughters and two sons to mourn their loss, his wife having died a year or so ago. He left two daughters single, the other daughter being married. There are also several sisters of his living in Cheboygan, and a goodly number of grand children..
