This is a recent tank, started January 28, 1998. It has eight varieties of SPS corals, four LPS, some soft corals, two tridacna clams, many snails, and lots of those tiny copepodes. Also, I recently added an emerald crab for bubble algae control, and can tell you my experiences with these guys.

Several of the hard corals have shown growth in the short time I've been growing them. It's neat to see a stony coral, like a montipora sp, grow back a branch that has been broken off.

I run the reef at 1.026 salinity, and 79.0 - 80.5 deg F. The nitrate and phosphate levels are zero, or at least below the detectable range of my inexpensive SeaTest kits. Calcium is around 450 ppm, and dKH around 11. pH is 8.1 - 8.3.
