Rusk State Park

Located 3 miles west of Rusk, Texas on Hwy 84, this 100 acre park offers 48 sites for camping, 46 RV sites, fishing in the 19 acre lake, hiking, 15 picnic sites and the historic Texas State Railroad steam engine train trips to Palestine and back. The lake offers largemouth bass in the 4 to 8 pound class and nice crappie. Trout is stocked during the winter.
