This is my current project Scirocco. I purchased this in June of 2003. It is a 1987 VW Scirocco 16V. I have
short term and long term goals for this car. When I purchased the car it was close to stock with a few modifications. The
previous owner said that it has a Techtonics Tuning cat back exhaust, Knology Wires, K&N Filter and after market suspension.
Well, part of it was true. The exhaust is stock and the suspension has Koni Yellows with stock springs. He had replaced the
stock wheels with a set of 15" Fittipadli's that he color matched to the car. He also matched color other interior elements
with the body color. This was a good place to start.
I have been planning to build another one of these for a few years. My First Scirocco was an '82 that I had modified
with a European exhaust manifold and a TechTonics Tuning downpipe and 2" cat back free flow exhaust. I had done a few
other minor things like Neuspeed springs with Bilstein Strust and shocks. Bumped the timing to get a few free HP. The
only interior upgrade was a set of VDO gauges and a Neuspeed three gauge panel. I kept the gauges and panel, but let the car
go with the oil pressure dual sender.
Over the next couple of years this car is going to get alot of attention. Check back regularily to see how it
